This is the new Hexion Tech Scouter V2, a new and improved model of the original Scouter featuring a T1/T2 footprint red dot sight with a 20mm field of view.
The Scouter 2 is a unique and original design catered towards CQB/CQC as an aiming solution that provides needed functionality in the harshest of conditions. CNC Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the Scouter 2 offers a one-piece sight housing with an attractive hood design.
There is unlimited eye relief and a wide FOV to ensure fast target acquisition and transitions. The lens is a collimated wedge style with a multi-layer coating for the sharpest and clearest possible view.
With robust circuitry and a tough housing, the Scouter 2 maintains its is a rugged optic suitable for a wide variety of mission sets. Its battery cover is extremely rigid as it requires 4 hex screws to secure the CR2032 battery inside of it.
Depend on the Scouter 2 when you need it! This red dot sight has a battery saving function which shuts off the optic after 2 hours of no movement. The same feature will turn the optic on when it detects movement. Users can expect up to 30,000 hours of battery life from a single battery.
Brightness settings are located on the top side of the optic and come in the form of satisfying rubber button with very positive button actuation. The Scouter 2 has 11 different brightness settings.
