- Dirt and/or sand can hinder proper operation of the folding hinge.
- This product is not recommended for use while mortaring a firearm to clear malfunctions.
- Expect normal wear and tear on the folding locking mechanism from long-term use.
- Use caution to avoid fingers getting caught during the folding and unfolding process.
- The Picatinny interface requires approximately four rail sections to mount properly without appearing misaligned or out of place.
- When installing on aluminum Picatinny rails, do not exceed 35 inch-pounds of torque.
- When installing on polymer Picatinny rails, due to varying material compositions from different manufacturers, we do not recommend exceeding 15 to 20 inch-pounds of torque.
- Do not use on heavy-recoil or high-powered firearms.
- Recoil Force Limitation: This product is engineered exclusively for low-recoil, rimfire, pistol-caliber, and intermediate cartridge platforms. This product is not intended for use with full-power rifle cartridges. Do not install or use this product on high-recoil firearm platforms.
- Risk of Unintended Folding: Exceeding the intended recoil threshold will cause the friction interface to fail, resulting in the mechanism unlatching or unexpectedly folding during live fire.
- Hazard Warning: Sudden collapse of the stock/stabilizer during discharge can lead to a loss of firearm control, equipment failure, and severe bodily injury.
- Pre-Use Inspection: Always ensure the hinge mechanism is fully seated and engaged before operation. Discontinue use immediately if friction fit becomes loose or degraded.
