The Strike AR Castle Nut is machined from AISI 4140 steel and surface heat-treated to 45-50 HRC for robustness and durability. Its manganese phosphate finish provides an attractive matte black appearance and excellent resistance to corrosion and wear. When paired with the Strike Industries Multi-Function End Plate, there's no need for peening or staking, simplifying installation.
Additionally, the nut features wrench cutouts for easy installation with a castle nut wrench, and its Mil-Spec dimensions ensure compatibility with AR-15 and AR-10 receiver extensions/buffer tubes.
