The LITE Backstrap for Strike Modular Chassis (SMC) - ALPHA allows you to convert the SMC chassis to a more traditional handgun setup. For those who do not want the SMC Rear Module Backstrap, you now have the choice to setup the SMC in another way. The beavertail designed into the LITE Backstrap helps protect your hand from the dreaded slide bite. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the raised surface cuts on the backstrap provides bite to keep the gun firmly in place without being too aggressive for better weapon control of the SMC. Lightweight and high-strength, the LITE Backstrap for Strike Modular Chassis (SMC) - ALPHA expands the modularity of accessories for the SMC line to configure your SMC your way. WARNING:
-M3x4mm T10 Flat set screw is less than 5 in/lbs (0.56 nM) maximum torque. Carefully hand tighten to fasten screws without damaging threads in SMC chassis.
-Set screws are pre-coated with Loctite® Threadlocker Blue 243® but new application of Threadlocker is required every time screws are removed and fastened.
