The Strike Industries GRIDLOK® Rail for 416 gives you a primary, a secondary or multiple setup options as a quick and direct handguard swap. The GRIDLOK® Rail for 416 has the SI patent pending Quick Rail Detach GRIDLOK® locking latch and mounts on using the factory HK® OEM barrel nut, in seconds you can replace the HK® standard rail with an outfitted GRIDLOK® as a primary handguard and use your HK® rail as a secondary handguard. You can outfit and setup the GRIDLOK® as a secondary handguard for a specific mission or you can get multiple GRIDLOK® Rail’s in different lengths to configure for different missions. The GRIDLOK® Rail for 416 is available in four (x4) various lengths (9”/11”/14.5”/16”) and in full length top 1913 Picatinny rail (Full Duty) or front/rear Picatinny rail (Lightspeed) versions. The GRIDLOK® Rail for 416 takes innovation from the original GRIDLOK® rail but this is a 1-piece design to minimize weight and increase strength. There is no other HK416 handguard that can be removed in the field or at home as quick and easy on the market today. With the Quick Rail detach system, a simple push and pull of the of the quick detach (QD) latch, you have the handguard off in seconds to make any adjustments to an adjustable gas block or installation/removal of a suppressor easier. Law enforcement and military users can quickly swap between multiple GRIDLOK® rails for specific missions. Short and lightweight night vision ready for CQB house clearing to a bipod ready marksman rifle. Go from one mission to another without needing multiple weapons. Integrated into the front of the GRIDLOK® is the built-in flip up backup iron sight (BUIS). M-LOK accessories can be attached and mounted along the rail at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. In the rear of the handguard you will find four (x4) integrated 360° free swivel QD socket at 2, 4 8 and 10 o’clock positions. The rear rail tab helps index into the HK® upper receiver to center the top rail and ensure proper alignment. The cut in front was designed to help fit suppressors up to 1.57" (39.9mm) in diameter and of course all SI muzzle devises including the SI OPPRESSOR line for those looking for that tucked look. The handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The Strike Industries GRIDLOK® for 416 is lightweight, high-strength and everything you need and nothing you don’t.

COMPATIBILITY: HK416/HK416 A5/HK416 A7/MR556/M27 IAR (w/o ambidextrous sling attachment points)
NOT COMPATIBLE: Old versions HK416 with ambidextrous sling attachment points. All new MR556 and HK416 do not have that sling loops.

NOTE: The two locking screw at base can only be easily adjusted when the base is not mounted on barrel nut. It is NOT RECOMMENDED to adjust the locking tightness when you mount it on barrel nut. Installation video available.
